CIAO.-I Currently, my designation is Certified Illinois Assessing Official (Intermediate). The mandatory designation required to run for Assessor in Lake County is CIAO. There are two higher designations than I currently hold. They are CIAO-S and CIAO-M. I do plan to continue to strive for higher designations.
Including my qualifying courses to obtain my CIAO, I have completed 345 hours of courses related to the assessment field. These classes were hosted by; the Illinois Department of Revenue, Illinois Property Assessment Institute, Proval, and The Appraisal Foundation. |
