CIAO-I Currently, my designation is Certified Illinois Assessing Official (Intermediate). The mandatory designation required to run for Assessor in Lake County is CIAO. I do plan to continue to strive for higher designations.

Including my qualifying courses to obtain my CIAO, I have completed 345 hours of courses related to the assessment field. These classes were hosted by; the Illinois Department of Revenue, Illinois Property Assessment Institute, Proval, and The Appraisal Foundation. I've attended numerous training sessions provided by the Chief County Assessment Office.
